YOKU MOKU Co., Ltd.

We took part in the uniform renewal project for YOKU MOKU Co., Ltd.

The renewal had clear goals: to resolve the frustrations of the coordinators working on the front lines and raise their day-to-day motivation, and to strengthen the company's overall branding through a design that reflects the brand image more powerfully.

In the design, we placed weight on carrying forward YOKU MOKU's historically elegant style. Details such as frills and embroidery create refinement and a sense of luxury, while adding the warmth befitting a confectionery brand.

We also adopted a color scheme inspired by the brand's signature Cigare. Grounded in a beige reminiscent of baked confections, delicate gradations express the subtle unevenness of the bake — bringing out an individuality that could only be YOKU MOKU's.

Functionality and comfort received equal care. In response to feedback that heat builds up on the job, we chose a quick-drying fabric and changed the top from tucked-in to untucked — cooler, more comfortable, and easier to handle. To relieve the tightness of the previous slim sizing, the blouse was given a soft, airy design that anyone can wear with confidence, whatever their build.

We also replaced the apron with a pouch, solving the problem of silhouettes collapsing under the weight of carried items and keeping the overall look smart and refined.

The project reaffirmed for us that a custom uniform, uniting design and function, has the power to support a company's brand value — and to give the people who wear it confidence and pride.
