We are pleased to introduce the uniforms for Eiseikai Medical Corporation, which operates over 30 facilities centered around hospitals and long-term care medical facilities.
Shinwakai treasures an environment that puts patients and residents at ease, extending fine-grained care to its spaces, its meals, and beyond. As part of that commitment, they approached us with a wish: a uniform that softens the anxiety people feel.
Rather than the white setups or scrubs typical of medical institutions, might a look that doesn't immediately read as "nurse" actually ease the anxiety of a visit? From that conversation, the uniform's concept took shape.
The tops pair a white-and-brown palette with no-collar and round-collar designs for a gentle impression, combined with basic pants in two uniform variations.
Today, beyond the original palette, each newly opened facility introduces its own coloring to match its character.
While most uniforms are built around the traits of a profession, this project deliberately set convention aside and removed the "nurse-ness" altogether — a custom uniform where the impression it gives was valued as highly as its function.

I start by listening closely to each client and visiting the places where their teams actually work. Valuing the real voices I hear there and the character of each company, we think together about uniforms that do more than look stylish: uniforms that genuinely raise the value of the company. Drawing on my experience across resort hotels, retail, cosmetics and many other industries, I propose designs that stay close to each client's needs.
