Marufukuro is a hotel born from the building that once served as Nintendo's head office, given new life over time. Merged with a new wing by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando, it carries a quiet gravitas and the modernism of early Showa-era Japan. This uniform was conceived to melt into that atmosphere.

The deep-green jacket is finished with white piping, drawing a clean, precise contrast. The design is based on the Ivy style beloved by students on the American East Coast in the 1950s: a trim blazer, a narrow tie, crisp white lines. That style — a symbol of intelligence and refinement — later crossed to Japan and took root in the 1960s as a trad culture of its own. The Marufukuro uniform elevates that spirit into modern hospitality.
We also introduced loungewear for guests to relax in during their stay. Built on the key color green, it offers an all-in-one for women and a no-collar jacket setup for men — relaxed wear that can be enjoyed not only in the guest rooms but in the lounge and bar, as comfortably as time spent at home.

To honor the character of a historic building while adding the breath of a new era — the uniform, we believe, is one of the essential tools that lets each member of staff serve as that bridge.
